Standing in a field so full of bees that my body was vibrating with the hum of their buzzing was a first. So was finding out that raising bees outside Glacier National Park means that sometimes bears eat your bee hives. Working on this story and photographing the folks at Glacier County Honey Company was a real adventure. Run by a husband and wife team, Glacier County Honey bottles the raw honey they pull from the fields outside Babb, Montana. You can read the full story and see my photos in the current issue of Montana Magazine. For now here is part of the layout and some of the outtakes that didn’t make the final edition.
Thanks again to Jenna Cederberg for continuing to support my projects and send me out into the wilds of Montana searching for stories and photos. It’s pretty fantastic to have someone consistently in your corner. Thanks for that.
