I had the chance last summer to take a road trip from Whitefish to just outside Helena in Boulder Valley, Montana. The drive was beautiful. And Boulder Valley itself is pretty spectacular. That day it was blue skies and wide open pastures on my way to the studio of artist Michael Haykin. It’s been a fun challenge to be writing in addition to photographing for some of my stories. Sheila over at Montana Magazine has been a great person to work with and I look forward to more stories that take me all over Big Sky Country.
Here are a couple more shots that didn’t make the story. You can find this story in the current issue of Montana Magazine – on stands now.
Congratulations! You do such beautiful work. Now I’m just wishing I could get my hands on a copy of Montana Magazine way out here in California!
The studio seems as beautiful as its surroundings!
Thanks ladies!
Congrats, Jessica!! Awesome piece and great pics!
